     2012-February-7  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Shenzhen resident Jiang Jian (2nd L) and his Russian wife, Sveta Jiang, watch a puppet show with family members at the square north of Shenzhen Book City CBD store yesterday to celebrate the Lantern Festival, the last day of the traditional Chinese Spring Festival. Thousands of locals gathered to watch performances listed as State, provincial or city-level intangible cultural heritage events. Shenzhen boasts six events listed as China’s intangible cultural heritage, along with 18 events at the province level and 39 at the city level. (Photo highlights on P15)Sun Yuchen
