    A new public school, Shenzhen No. 6 Senior High School, is expected to open in Longgang District in September, providing high-quality education and resources to high school students in the city, Shenzhen Education Bureau announced over the weekend.

    Located in the Huawei area of Bantian Subdistrict in Longgang, the boarding school will be operated by Shenzhen Middle School. Wang Zhanbao, principal of Shenzhen Middle School, said the Longgang campus will import teachers and the rigorous education system of Shenzhen Middle School.

    The new school will have an increased international focus through offerings such as exchange activities, Wang said.

    The school is planned to accomodate 3,000 students and could be named Shenzhen Middle School Huawei Campus.

    Construction of the Longgang Senior High School also will be completed this year.
