MORE than 40 artworks by Yan Jiakuan, a Hubei artist famous for landscape painting, are on display at Guan Shanyue Art Museum.
Eight paintings are 2 meters high and 5 meters wide, among the largest landscape paintings ever exhibited in China.
They depict the physical world that Yan has traveled, including deserts in Australia, valleys along the Yangtze River and mountains amid the Shenlongjia forests.
