    SHENZHEN Art Museum is holding an exhibition of front-line contemporary Chinese artists through July 15, 2012.

    The exhibition, co-sponsored by Shijiazhuang Contemporary Art Museum, Beijing G-Dot Art Space, Hubei Art Museum, exhibits the works of 12 well-known artists including Wang Guangyi, Fang Lijun, Ma Liuming, Chen Wenling, Zhang Peili, Wu Mingzhong, Yue Minjun, Nan Xi, Yuan Xiaofang, Fu Zhongwang, Xue Song and Wei Guangqing.

    The exhibition is a continuation of the museum’s 2009 exhibition “Historic Images — 2009 Invitation Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Arts.”

    While the 2009 exhibition is mainly a reflection of Chinese history, the current exhibition emphasizes the connection between history and the present, hence the name “History Again.”

    The exhibition will be held at Shijiazhuang Contemporary Art Museum, Beijing G-Dot Art Space and Hubei Art Museum after being completed in Shenzhen.
