    CHINA Design Exhibition, a national-level design exhibition, will be held in Shenzhen from Dec. 7 to Feb. 6, 2013.

    Organizers of the exhibition are inviting design works from around the country from May 30 to Sept. 31. Entries must be works produced between 2008 and Sept. 30, 2012.

    The exhibition, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Shenzhen government, will be the first of its kind in the history of the People’s Republic of China.

    The theme of the exhibition is “Times? Exhibition.” It is composed of four parts: graphic design, product design, space design, and crossover design.

    The selection process will be overseen by an academic board composed of professors from art schools, heads of design associations and well-known designers.

    The academic board and the curators of the exhibition will meet for the first time at Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum on Wednesday to discuss details of the exhibition.
