Versatile Taiwanese pop artist Wan Fang will hold a concert at Shenzhen Poly Theater on Sept. 15.
Born in 1968, she signed with the Rock Record label, signaling the start of her professional musical career.
Since releasing her first album “Time Carries On” in 1990, Wan has released 20 albums. Her representative works include “New Endless Love,” “Guess the Heart,” “I Remember the Love in Your Eyes,” “Blue Sea and Romantic Sky,” “Half Sleeve,” “Try to Know” and “Tear Apart.”
Wan has made extensive tours of the Chinese mainland, Singapore, Malaysia and the United States. Besides making live tours, she performs with orchestras, percussion ensembles and traditional wind bands from North China.
Wan is equally successful as an actress. She made her debut on stage in 1995, and has performed in at least 14 plays 296 times.
She has had success in film and television. She won best actress at the 2004 Golden Bell Awards and was nominated for best actress at the 2008 Golden Bell Awards.
