《唐顿庄园》第四季iTune首播 用户可先睹为快
Apple said on Monday that people in North America who hold iTunes season passes will be able to see this season’s last three episodes of “Downton Abbey” before they air.
The period drama’s second season was the best-selling TV series on iTunes last year, Apple said, without disclosing the numbers. The exclusive preview of a TV series is the first for iTunes, the company said.
The third season of “Downton Abbey” began on January 6 with an episode that drew nearly 8 million viewers. The drama about British landed gentry* and their household servants stars Hugh Bonneville, Dan Stevens and Michelle Dockery.
Episodes are available beginning on January 29 on iTunes. The season finale will air on February 17 on PBS’s “Masterpiece” showcase.
“Downton Abbey” is beginning production on its fourth season. PBS chief Paula Kerger refused to disclose any tidbits* when asked if Shirley MacLaine would return as a newly introduced American relative to the Crawley family.
