C-level
     2013-February-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    公司高管

    Level是“等级”,C-level是什么等级呢?请看对话:

    A: How was your holiday?

B: Not bad. I went back to my hometown and met a few old classmates. One guy, who is in the C-level of a multinational company in Beijing, gave us the treat of a game and an overnight stay at a luxury golf club.

A: That guy must be loaded. What’s C-level?

B: The highest-level executives in an organization are usually called “C-level,” referring to the three-letter initials starting with “C” and ending with “O.”

A: Like Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

B: Yes. And we’ve also got Chief Technological Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer in IT, banking, insurance, and other financial service companies.

    记住了吗?C-level就是“公司高管”。
