Swag
     2013-June-11  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    酷范儿

    Swag作为名词通常是“赃

    物、值钱的东西、摇晃、布幔”的意思。可是teenagers用这个词说的就是另一回事了。请看对话:

A: Do you think Psy has more swag than P. Diddy?

B: I don’t quite get you. What is swag?

A: If one has got swag, it means he or she is cool.

B: That’s a quality hard to define. Where does this word come from?

A: Well, some people say it’s an acronym for “secretly we are gay.” Teenagers use it a lot. Swag is the way in which you carry yourself. It is made up of your overall confidence, style, and demeanor. The stereotype is that people with swag wear snapback hats, get tattoos everywhere and think Justin Bieber is cool.

B: Look at this one! Someone asks which team has the most swag, the San Antonio Spurs or the Miami Heat.

A: Well, I would say, swag is for boys. Class is for men. Who needs swag when you’ve already got four rings?

    记住了吗?Swag就是大孩子们爱说的“酷范儿”。
