Bieber’s mom pens teenage

    edition of her autobiography

    Pattie Mallette, mother of Justin Bieber, is releasing a special edition of her best-selling book “Nowhere But Up” aimed at teens, her publisher said on June 4.

    The new edition directs Mallette’s life story as mother of the 19-year-old pop idol toward teenaged readers, and includes new features including a group discussion guide and sidebars* addressing topics based on questions from Mallette’s Twitter followers.

    Winslet expecting third child

    British actress Kate Winslet is pregnant with her third child and first with husband Ned Rocknroll, her spokeswoman said on June 4.

    Winslet, 37, gave birth to a daughter in 2000 with film director Jim Threapleton and a son in 2003 with film director Sam Mendes.

    The “Titanic” star, who won an Academy Award for her role as an aging former guard at a Nazi concentration camp in 2008’s “The Reader,” married Rocknroll last December.

    Penelope Cruz to be next Bond girl

    Spanish Oscar winner Penelope Cruz will appear in the next Bond film, which will serve as a follow-up to Sam Mendes’ widely acclaimed “Skyfall.” Cruz’s casting has sparked the public’s interest as she would be the oldest Bond girl ever.

    The actress, who is expecting her second child with actor husband Javier Bardem, will start shooting for the movie after she turns 40, in April 2014, The Sun reported.

    Zhang Shaogang quits hosting

    Famous Chinese TV host Zhang Shaogang announced on the evening of June 7 at an event held at the Communication University of China that he would no longer host any TV programs from June 30.

    He said, “From then on, I will focus my attention firstly on teaching and secondly on assisting my wife and teaching my child. Thanks for your support and see you in the next course.”

    Zhang is currently still hosting programs such as “Only You,” a job-seeking reality show produced by Tianjin Satellite TV.
