Singer Faye Wong’s daughter Dou Jingtong has simply put the label “a buddy” on a photo on her Sina Weibo, together with an emoticon* of a hand gesturing the “OK” sign.

    This comment responds to reports last week that she was in a romantic relationship with an American teenager.

    Sixteen-year-old Dou was sent to study in the United States at the end of last year. Recently, pictures of her and the boy hanging out together have surfaced online, including one featuring the boy kissing her head.

    Dou is the daughter of Chinese rock star Dou Wei and his ex-wife, famed Chinese singer-songwriter and actress, Faye Wong, who is commonly referred to as a diva* in domestic media.(SD-Agencies)
