NEVS Saab 9-3 Aero coming to China
     2013-December-5  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

(L-R) NEVS managing director Mattias Bergman, Swedish Minister for Enterprise Annie Loof, Chinese Ambassador Chen Yuming, vice mayor of Qingdao Li Chenggang and State Power Group CEO Kai Johan Jiang stand next to a first production NEVS Saab 9-3 Aero at the Trollhattan factory in Sweden on Monday. The new owners of Swedish carmaker Saab, National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB (NEVS), restart production of the 9-3 sedan Monday at the Trollhattan factory in Sweden, a NEVS spokesman said Friday.

The 9-3 sedan will be powered by a turbocharged gasoline engine and built in “small and humble numbers” for China and Sweden, NEVS spokesman Mikael Ostlund said. NEVS, which is 22 percent owned by the Chinese city of Qingdao through the city’s investment company, bought most of the assets of Saab last year.SD-Agencies
