‘Edge of Tomorrow’ director announces China release date

 AMERICAN film director Doug Liman announced through a promo video rencently that the sci-fi adventure film “Edge of Tomorrow” is set to hit Chinese cinema screens June 6.

    “Dajia hao. Hello everyone. My name is Doug Liman. I’m the director of ‘Edge of Tomorrow.’ Tom, Emily and I could not be more excited that ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ will be released in China on June 6, simultaneously with the U.S. ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ release; it is a sci-fi adventure with incredible action. We can’t wait for the Chinese audience to see our film and share our excitement.”

    The American science fiction film, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, tells the story of a soldier called William Cage (Tom Cruise) fighting in a war against an alien race. He finds himself caught in a time loop of his last day of the battle and becomes more and more capable along the way.
