A journalist tries to use a new device using 3-D-haptics technology, which gives users tactile and kinesthetic feelings virtually at a press preview in Tsukuba, suburban Tokyo, yesterday. Japan’s high-tech venture Miraisens unveiled the 3-D technology that promises users “bodily sensations” through reaction feelings akin to touching, pushing and pulling virtual objects. The new technology “fools human brains” by creating illusions with different patterns of vibration from a small device on a user’s fingertip and 3-D images. SD-Agencies
