你造吗，我宣你！

    Nǐ zào ma, wǒ xuān nǐ!Meaning:

    “你” means “you,” “造” means to “make,” “吗” is the mark for a question, “我” means “I,” and “宣” means to “announce.” However, the meaning of this sentence has little to do with the characters it’s composed of. Originating from a line in the popular Chinese sitcom “iPartment,” it’s the exaggerated pronunciation in Taiwanese dialect of the sentence “Do you know? I like you!” (你知道吗，我喜欢你！) Chinese netizens think the pronunciation cute, which has made this line very popular.

    A: 这是给谁的玫瑰花啊？

    Zhè shì gěi shuí de méiguìhuā a?

    Who have you bought the roses for?

    B: 给你的。你造吗，我宣你！

    Gei ni de。Nǐ zào ma, wǒ xuān nǐ!
