One highlight of the six-day fair, which is widely regarded as a barometer of the Chinese electronics market, is smart home/community solution systems presented by overseas companies such as Murata (China) Investment Co. and Toshiba Electronics (Shanghai) Co.
Murata has attended Elexcon seven times and received significant attention for its bike-riding robot Murata Boy and unicycle-riding robot Murata Girl at previous fairs. This year, Murata will showcase the robots’ smart home, Go Maruyama, marketing director of Murata (China), told reporters yesterday. Murata will also show visitors their wearable technologies.
