签署协议

    中国总理李克强周一与俄罗斯总理梅德韦杰夫举行会晤，签署近40项合作协议。请看本报昨日的报道：

    China and Russia cemented some 40 cooperation deals Monday in Moscow after talks between Premier Li Keqiang and his Russian counterpart.

    The deals cover nuclear energy, financing, transport, communications and tourism.

    Russian gas exporter Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) had also begun talks on natural gas deliveries via a West Route pipeline, which will connect gas deposits in western Siberia and the northwestern part of China through Russia’s Altai region, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky said.

    报道中的cement deals就是“签署协议”。Cement作为名词是“水泥、胶合剂”，作为动词是“用水泥浇筑”。Cement deals是个非常形象的表达，好像把合同最后固定下来。
