A SUPER kid deserves a super dad.
A young English child defying the odds doctors gave him when he was diagnosed with brain cancer more than a year ago received an amazing birthday surprise when Spider-Man jumped from his family’s roof and spent his fifth birthday with him.
Professional free jumper Mike Wilson donned the Spider-Man costume for his son Jayden’s special day and his super entrance was captured in an online video.
Jayden is told to look outside his home as the video begins and then his mother encourages him to step out farther onto the porch.
Suddenly Spider-Man appears after jumping from the family’s roof — shocking Jayden’s family members who duck inside the house. But the birthday boy stands firmly in place.
He smiles as Spider-Man wishes him a happy birthday and gives him a hug. The superhero then picks him up and celebrates the big day with him inside.
Unfortunately “daddy was at the shop” and couldn’t be there to witness it.
Jayden was diagnosed with a Grade 4 brain stem tumor in September 2013 and was given only a year to live, the family said on his Facebook page.
But the young child is fighting hard and the family stated Monday that Jayden started developing strength in his left arm, which became weak a few weeks ago.
“So nice to see small improvements,” the family wrote.
A Hope for Jayden GoFundMe page has been created to raise money for the family.
