GOLDEN Horse best actress award winner Qin Hailu gave birth to a 4.5-kg boy by cesarean section yesterday.

    Her husband, actor Wang Xinjun, accompanied her during the whole process and shared his excitement on social media immediately after the birth of the boy. “I am extremely happy to have a son at my age. The double eyelids the baby has look just like mine.” He said that they haven’t decided on a name for the baby yet, but promised to hold a wedding ceremony soon.

    The new parents met in 2011 while shooting a TV series and started seeing each other in 2012. The couple registered their marriage in January 2014, but never held a formal ceremony.
