    TAIWANESE singer and actress Rene Liu posted a photo of her newborn son’s footprint Friday afternoon on her Sina Weibo, sharing the good news with fans. “This is a miraculous process, and now you will embark on a miraculous journey. Let us be your company with each step,” Liu wrote. Born on Thursday, the boy weighs 2.8 kg. This is the first child for the couple.

    Liu, 45, married her husband Zhong Shi, a financial industry insider from Beijing, in August 2011.

    Pregnancy confirmed

    AFTER months of speculation and tons of baggy clothes, Justin Timberlake celebrated his 34th birthday by finally confirming that he and wife Jessica Biel, 32, are expecting their first child together.

    “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT,” he wrote Saturday on Instagram alongside an image of himself kissing his wife’s sizeable belly.

    Shakira welcomes baby No. 2

    ON Thursday, Shakira and soccer pro Gerard Pique welcomed their second child, Sasha Pique Mebarak. Their son, also their second boy, was born at 9:54 p.m. in Barcelona and both mother and child are in good health according to a story posted to her official website. The couple’s son’s name, Sasha, means “defend of mankind” and “warrior.”

    Shakira, 37, and Pique, 27, rented out an entire floor of the Teknon clinic — the same place the Colombian singer gave birth to the couple’s 2-year-old son Milan.

    Val Kilmer hospitalized

    ACTOR Val Kilmer, best-known for his roles in “Batman Forever” and “The Doors,” said Saturday he was at a Los Angeles hospital for observation following what he called a “complication.” The 55-year-old film and stage star posted to his Facebook page after media reports that he had been rushed to the hospital with a suspected tumor.
