(Below) The plane’s now-vertical wing scrapes over the road, hitting a vehicle before heading into the Keelung River. The TransAsia Airways Flight GE235 with 58 people on board, heading from Taipei to Kinmen, crashed into the river yesterday, 10 minutes after taking off, killing at least 23 people. Thirty-one of the 53 passengers were from the mainland and two of them were confirmed dead by press time yesterday.
