Motorcyclist hit by car, lands on feet
     2015-February-5  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A SAN FRANCISCO motorcyclist’s helmet-mounted camera recorded the moment he was struck by a car, sent flipping over the vehicle’s hood and landed on his feet.

Taylor Smith said he was riding his 2011 Triumph Daytona 675 motorcycle near Union Square on Jan. 28 when a car ran a red light and struck him at an intersection.

“He was slamming on his brakes, so it launched me forward; somehow I landed on my feet. Actually pretty happy because that probably reduced any further damage that could have happened to my body,” Smith said.

The crash was recorded by Smith’s Contour ROAM helmet camera.

Smith said in the video’s YouTube description he was wearing his safety gear at the time of the crash and was left “with only bumps and bruises.”(SD-Agencies)
