Zhang Ziyi says‘yes’to Wang Feng
     2015-February-9  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

CHINESE actress Zhang Ziyi said “yes” to her rocker boyfriend Wang Feng’s marriage proposal at her birthday party Saturday.

As photos on Sina Weibo revealed, a white drone carrying a diamond ring flew in to romantic music as Wang, 43, went down on one knee. “We have experienced sweet times and bitter times in the spotlight. I wish Ziyi would be happy forever. And I hope that I am allowed the chance to take care of you when we both are old,” Wang said.

Zhang, surprised to tears, answered a firm “yes” amid cheers and applause from an audience that included singers Na Ying and Wang Leehom, who was accompanied by his wife Lee Jinglei. Apart from the 9.15-carat diamond ring, Wang Feng also gave Zhang a ruby and diamond bracelet as a gift for her birthday. Online media reports say Wang spent as much as 1 million yuan (US$160,000) on the birthday party, which featured piles of fresh flowers.

Last November, Zhang, who turns 36 today, reportedly told Sina Entertainment that her wedding date “would be soon” as she was “not getting any younger.”

Wang, a Chinese rock musician and composer, has been married twice before. He announced divorce with his second wife in 2013.

Zhang dated CCTV anchor Sa Beining and Aviv “Vivi” Nevo, an Israeli and American venture capitalist before falling in love with Wang. She also had a brief relationship with Fok Kai-shan, a grandson of Hong Kong tycoon Henry Fok.(Debra Li)
