    Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul has been fined US$25,000 for his public criticism of rookie referee Lauren Holtkamp.

    Rod Thorn, the NBA’s president of basketball operations, made the announcement Saturday. Paul, who drew his 79th career technical foul during the Clippers’ 105-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night, criticized Holtkamp for the “ridiculous” call — one of the team’s five technicals in the game.

    报道中的technical foul就是“技术犯规”，有时候简称为T或者Tech，指比赛中不存在身体碰撞的犯规，最常见的技术犯规是违反体育精神的行为，例如与裁判交谈时无礼貌、动作粗野、侮辱对手等。
