A father with a baby in his arms walks at the square in front of the Changchun Railway Station in Changchun, capital of Jilin Province, yesterday. A travel rush came to its peak yesterday as passengers were hurrying home for family reunions during Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 19 this year. The Ministry of Transport has said a total of 2.807 billion trips are expected to be made during the 40-day Spring Festival travel rush, which started Feb. 4 and will last until March 16.
