MARATHON MARKS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
     2015-March-9  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Participants run on Shennan Road in China’s first women’s marathon held in Shenzhen to celebrate International Women’s Day yesterday. Three thousand women took part in the run, which was divided into three categories — full length, half-length and a 5.5-km course. The route started at Shenzhen Grand Theater and ended at Luohu Sports and Culture Center. Twenty-five percent of the entry fees and all donations raised during the race will be donated to the Impoverished Women and Children’s Fund, its organizers said.Sun Yuchen
