bìzūkè
Meaning:
"毕" means graduating students or graduates, and "租客" refers to people who rent houses or rooms from homeowners. The three words combined mean young people who have graduated from school and rent homes to live. These people usually are financially burdened by rising rental costs because they are not well-paid as entry-level workers.
Example:
Wǒ zhège yuè shǒutóu hěn jǐnzhāng ya!
My purse is tight this month.
Nǐ bú shì cái fā gōngzī ma?
Haven’t you just received your salary?
Wǒ de gōngzī kòudiào fangzū hé shuǐdiànfèi jiù zhī shèngxià yī qiān lái kuài le。
There's only about 1,000 yuan left after I paid my home rental and water and electricity bills.
Yeah, life is not easy for graduates who have to pay high home rentals. Don't be too sad, you'll have a higher income when you're more experienced in your job.
