    Rebound是"反弹"，job是"工作"。Rebound job是什么意思呢？请看对话：

    A: I heard you had a quarrel with your boss yesterday.

    B: True. So I will quit before he fires me.

    A: But how about your rent and all the other expenses?

    B: Don't worry. I have already found another job, at Starbucks.

    A: Starbucks? You went to law school!

    B: Starbucks is totally a rebound job, I am minutes from getting fired and need something fast!

    Note: A rebound job is a job you take knowing that it isn't long-term, often due to an emergency situation where you know you're losing your current job. It provides a paycheck while you take your time looking for a better job. It's like a rebound relationship in which one becomes overly quick to commit to a new partner after having experienced an upsetting breakup. Similarly, a rebound relationship may not last.
