‘MINI PUBLIC TRANSPORT’ NEW SOLUTION TO CHRONIC TRAFFIC WOES
     2015-March-18  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A staff member helps a resident rent a purely electric car at a green car rental service station near a Metro station in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province, yesterday. The station, put into use Monday with 60 cars, is the city’s largest and first of its kind to provide transfer services for Metro passengers. The rental project, referred to as “mini public transport” that was initiated in Hangzhou in September 2013, is becoming a new means of public transportation and a solution to its chronic urban traffic jams. The hourly rental fee for a two-seat car is 20 yuan (US$3.17) and 25 yuan for a four-seat car.Xinhua
