    “毕” is short for “毕业,” which means “graduation,” and “婚” means to “marry.” Just as the literal meaning of the characters has indicated, “毕婚” means to “get married upon graduation from college.” Statistics revealed that 80 percent of Chinese undergraduates said they think the phenomenon understandable, while 90 percent of male students said they wouldn’t consider it as their own option.
