SINGAPORE BIDS FAREWELL TO LEE KUAN YEW
     2015-March-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The body of Singapore’s former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew is transferred atop a gun carriage as they leave Parliament House during a funeral procession in Singapore yesterday. Tens of thousands of Singaporeans undeterred by heavy rains lined a 15-kilometer route through the Southeast Asian city-state to witness the funeral procession for the founding leader of Singapore, who led the country to independence 50 years ago. Leaders and dignitaries from more than two dozen countries attended the state funeral, including Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao.
