    Lu Chuan married

Chinese director Lu Chuan (R) revealed on his Weibo account that he is married to Hu Die (L), anchor of CCTV Morning News. He also posted a photo of the couple with their marriage certificate.

Lu, born in 1971, married Hu, 12 years his junior, March 26 after dating her for a year. This is the second marriage for Lu, who got divorced after shooting “Kekexili: Mountain Patrol” in 2004. Lu also dated actress Qin Lan and singer Tang Can before meeting Hu.

Lu is best known for “City of Life and Death,” which won best film and best cinematography awards at the 57th San Sebastian Film Festival.

    Swift’s mom has cancer

TAYLOR SWIFT’S mother, Andrea Finlay (R), has been diagnosed with cancer. Swift (L) revealed the news Thursday in a Tumblr post to fans titled “Just So You Know.”

“Hey guys,” she writes. “I’m writing to you with an update I wish I wasn’t giving you, but it’s important and I’m used to sharing important events in my life with you.” Swift and her family are keeping details of her mother’s condition, and her treatment plan, private. She ends the post by explaining why her mother wanted her to share the news: “Your parents may be too busy juggling everything they’ve got going on to go to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle. ... I hope and pray that you never get news like this.”
