Meaning:
“接盘,” a term used in stock trading, means to “buy what someone else is selling.” “侠” originally refers to established kung fu masters who are known not only for their martial art skills but also for their integrity and character, but the term is also used on fictional figures with special talent like “蜘蛛侠” (Spiderman) and “蝙蝠侠” (Batman). Literally, “接盘侠” can refer to someone who buys stocks other people are selling, but Chinese netizens also use the term jokingly to refer to men who readily take women dumped by other men to be their girlfriends or wives.
