Some of the 24 flight attendants from Taiwan who have joined Shanghai’s budget carrier Spring Airlines pose for a group photo at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Thursday. The attendants, who began to serve Thursday, were the first group of Taiwanese flight attendants to work for a mainland airline company. The airline started to recruit flight attendants from Taiwan last October. About 1,000 people applied for the jobs. Among the 24 newly employed, two are men and 22 are women.China News Service
