A passenger plane is towed away after it skidded off the runway at Fuzhou Changle International Airport in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, yesterday. Five passengers were slightly injured. Reports said a wing of the Joyair flight JR1529 broke. There were 45 passengers and seven crew on board when the accident happened. The accident forced the closure of the airport for a few hours. The aircraft, a China-built Modern Ark 60 (MA60), was flying from the eastern city of Yiwu in Zhejiang Province to Fuzhou. (Story on P4)Xinhua
