Participants gobble watercress at the 11th Watercress Festival, a nationally acclaimed annual festival in Alresford, in Hampshire, Britain, on Sunday. Alresford is known as Britain’s capital of watercress farming and each May a free festival takes place celebrating the plant and its consumption. There was live music, morris dancing, face painting, fairground rides, cookery demonstrations and a whole host of stalls offering a wide range of locally produced food and drink as well as arts and crafts.SD-Agencies
