Rescue workers search the rubble of a collapsed nine-story residential building in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, yesterday. At the time of the rain-triggered collapse, there were people inside the building and the number of casualties was unknown. More than 100 rescuers combed the debris with sniffer dogs and life detectors. A 4-month-old baby was pulled from the debris. Sixteen residents were still not accounted for.
