A CALF dodged the dinner plate because a perfectly formed heart on her head makes her so utterly adorable.
Farm staff have fallen for the adorable baby cow, which is named Valentine.
The young female arrived at Burwash Manor in Barton, Cambs, in Britain, last month and looked destined for market.
But after spotting her distinctive marking, they decided to keep her as a pet — and named her Valentine.
“She is adorable, we all love her,” said Manager Clare Rosier, 26.
“She just came out with this white heart on her forehead.
“She is just beautiful. We are planning to keep her as a pet and we think she’s going to be a real attraction for our visitors.
“Cows often come out with markings, it’s a bit like cats. You never know what you’re going to get.
“But we have never seen this before.
“When my colleague told me, I couldn’t believe it I thought he was joking.”
Valentine will now become the mascot for the farm’s “Love Food” festival in February 2016.
She was one of 21 calves born on the farm this year. Some are kept for breeding while others are taken to market to be sold for meat.
