THEY wear new designer outfits every day, travel around in style in a pram more expensive than the one Kim Kardashian bought for her baby daughter North and are comforted by a £600 (US$914) teddy bear.
Britain’s most pampered twins Isabella and Jacob even have their own Twitter account.
For the first 100 days of their lives the pair have been treated to new gear from the likes of Prada, Dior and Ralph Lauren, after their mother splashed out more than £20,000 for the privilege.
The 3-month-old tots never wear the same clothes twice — and their priciest items are £500 for a matching pair.
Businesswoman Louise Hill, 36, and her husband Dan, who appears on TV’s “Storage Hunters U.K.,” said they want the best for their twins having spent a long time trying to conceive through IVF.
“We thought we might not have children so it was quite an emotional moment when we did manage to conceive — after such heartache I did go a bit bonkers!” Louise said.
“I bought a lot of stuff before they were even born. They are so precious and are little miracles that we want to give them everything.
“I’m originally from Essex and in my circle of friends we like to dress well in designer clothes and handbags so it is an extension of how I like to dress.”
Her husband Dan, 33, added, “I’m known as Dapper Dan on Storage Hunters because I like wearing designer suits, so our twins are a reflection of us really. We wouldn’t go out of the house looking scruffy so neither should our children.
“It’s something my wife and I believe in. We like them to look good because for us it’s like having something different — making sure they never look the same.”
The cheapest outfits in the twins’ wardrobe are Marks & Spencer sleepsuits — which cost £35 a pair — while the more expensive ones include £210 outfits by royal designer Rachel Riley, who charges £100 for a knitted cardigan.
It took until the third round of IVF before Louise became pregnant — at a cost of £25,000. Doctors found Louise had polycystic ovaries and endometriosis when she was 20, making it unlikely she would conceive naturally.
Dan said it wasn’t long before he too was splashing out by racking up a £6,500 bill at Toys R Us after the twins were born. In total Louise and Dan have spent £110,000 on their babies.(SD-Agencies)
