深圳市财委、深圳市交委上周联合发布通告表示，从7月13日起连续3个月，正式受理咪表卡余额退还。请看本报周五的报道：

    Shenzhen’s defunct parking meter service still has an estimated 19 million yuan (US$3.06 million) left sitting in its accounts, and cardholders can get a refund beginning July 13, a notice by the transportation and finance commissions said Wednesday.

    The Kaoshuta Parking Management Co. ran roadside parking meters in Shenzhen for 10 years beginning in 1997. The service suffered problems because of poor operation and a lack of enforcement, leading it to be discontinued in 2007.
