嗨皮

    hāipí

    Meaning: Like many other popular words used by Chinese netizens, this one is a transliteration of the English word "happy." People use such terms to spice up their conversation. Similarly, they call a party "趴" (pā).

    Example

    A: 周末你去哪儿嗨皮了？

    Zhōumò nǐ qù nǎr hāipí le?

    Where did you have fun over the weekend?

    B: 哪儿也没去。天这么热，不想出门。

    Nǎr yě méi qù。Tiān zhème rè, bù xiǎng chūmén。

    Kěyǐ qù guàng shāngchǎng a, nàlǐ de kōngtiáo hǎo liángkuài de。

    Wǒ xiànzài dōu hěnshǎo qù guàng shāngchǎng le, wǎngshàng de gòuwù dàpā yīchǎng jiēzhe yīchǎng。
