AWARD-WINNING singer Taylor Swift will perform in Shanghai on Nov. 10 and 11 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
“Hey guys, it’s Taylor, I am very excited to let you know that I’ll be bringing the entire 1989 World Tour to Asia in November. I had an amazing time last time so I can’t wait to come back,” said Swift in a video message to her fans.
Priced between 480 and 2,280 yuan (US$75.6-359), tickets will be available by calling 400-610-3721, or online via Damai.cn. VIP packages are available. Tickets go on sale at 2 p.m. on June 30.
Swift said she is returning with The 1989 World Tour in support of her fifth studio album “1989.”
The 25-year-old announced the dates earlier yesterday. The concerts are part of her current The 1989 World Tour, which will make only one other Asian stop in Singapore.
The multi-Grammy winner, whose latest album “1989” was the top-selling album in the United States last year, made the news recently when an open letter that she wrote to Apple resulted in the tech giant making an about-turn about paying artists whose music appears in their new streaming service.
