UK’s smallest dog is less than 3 inches tall
     2015-June-30  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A TINY Chihuahua is being claimed as the U.K.’s smallest dog, standing at just three inches (7.62 cm) tall.

The miniscule pup, which goes by disproportionately large name Bibity Bobity Boo, has astonished her owners with her size.

Although fully grown at 6 months old, she is also just 8 inches in length and weighs less than a bag of sugar at 1 pound 10 ounces (0.73 kg).

But her owners, Ron and Susan Lingham from Blackpool, Britain, said her size makes her perfect for hide and seek, and earns her a lot of attention.

Retired teacher Ron, 67, said, “She’s so tiny, she just buries herself in my arms. I look into her eyes and tell her she is a little gift sent from heaven.”

It is believed that Bibity Bobity Boo — who also goes by Boo, Bibi and Bobyykins — has remained so tiny that she claims the title from its current holder, 4-inch-tall Tyson.

Tyson, who lives in Lincoln with his owner Rosemarie McLinden, is a Lhasa Apso cross Chihuahua.(SD-Agencies)
