    The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) is researching the possibility of canceling roaming fees, which could benefit at least 600 million Chinese users.

    Wen Ku, a spokesman for the ministry, revealed the latest development at a press conference Monday.

    报道中的roaming fee就是“漫游费”，roam是“漫步”，fee是“费用”。这里roaming是指手机或其它电子设备漫游到自己的运营商覆盖之外的地方通过协议用其它运营商的网络通话和上网。
