Gold vacuum cleaner is world’s most expensive
     2015-July-14  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

AN extravagant appliance has appeared online for the house-proud billionaire who thinks they have it all.

Sets of 24-carat gold vacuum cleaners are being advertised for £800,000 (US$1.24 million) each and are described as “ideal for red carpets, yacht decks and stretch-limousines.”

The advert says the machines are the “world’s most expensive” and weigh 7.5 kg each.

The vacuum cleaner is made from 24k gold plating and comes with a certificate of authenticity for anyone rich enough to purchase it.

They are a limited edition product and only 100 have been produced for online retailer Firebox.com. Each unit is engraved with official serial number and it comes with “extra wide” cleaning nozzle with a roller-brush attachment.

It also comes with non-slip urethane wheels, a 10-amp high-performance motor and a lifetime warranty. A description on the website reads: “Even the mind-bogglingly wealthy like a bit of therapeutic cleaning.

“The main difference is that when they clean, they use an £800,000, 24k gold-plated, high-performance vacuum to do it.

“Perfect for picking up loose bundles of cash, stocks and bonds or any leftover blood-diamonds that might be lying about.”

The vacuum cleaner is part of the website’s so-called “WTF range,” which includes a gold racing bike for £250,000.
