A car is crushed beneath a part of the canopy of the Meilin Toll Gate yesterday. A man was rescued from the car and sent to the hospital after the collapse occurred at around 3 p.m. Doctors said his injuries were not critical. The toll gate, which is being demolished, is on Meilin-Guanlan Expressway in Longhua New Area. The collapse was caused by vibrations during demolition, according to the authorities.Yan Jialiang
