SZ KUANG-CHI MARTIN JETPACK MAKES DEBUT

    A woman tries a simulator of Martin Jetpack made by Martin Aircraft, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Kuang-Chi Science Ltd., at an exhibition in Shenzhen on Monday. The jetpack uses a gasoline engine and two fans for lifts. It made its debut in China on Monday, with a price of 1.6 million yuan (US$260,000), local media reported. It was named as one of the Time magazine’s top 50 inventions for 2010, with potential uses for search and rescue, military, recreational and commercial applications, both manned and unmanned.Xinhua
