THE U.K.’s first ever pot noodle vending machine was launched Tuesday.
Much-loved flavors such as chicken and mushroom and spicy curry will be available 24-hours-a-day from the new snack machine.
With the contraption, known as the Hot Pot Shop, appearing in a student district of Nottingham, it is sure to do a roaring late night trade.
One student, Ruth Gill, 19, said, “It’s a great idea. After a night out people like something inside them to soak up the drink and this will make a great alternative to a kebab or chips.”
The vending machine, complete with hot water dispenser, first opened for business in a closed down Himalayan clothing store.
Owner Will Bellamy told the Nottingham Post it was one of several vending shops he hopes to open around the city over the coming months.
He said, “I feel that Pot Noodle gives people choice and it’s not going to change a lot; people can still get a burger or kebab but this gives a bit of choice.(SD-Agencies)
