Hundreds of houses painted in bright colors in the Palmitas neighborhood, in Pachuca, Mexico, on Thursday. A Mexican artists’ collective called German Crew is responsible for painting the mural project, a government-sponsored project called Pachuca Paints Itself. The artists repainted some 20,000 square meters of gray walls across more than 200 houses to create what the city government bills as the largest mural in Mexico. The project aims to bring the community together and rehabilitate the area.
