New ‘Joe’

    HERE is a new member of the Pritchett family. Jeremy Maguire has joined “Modern Family” Season 7 in a recasting for the role of Fulgencio “Joe” Pritchett.

    His onscreen mom Sofia Vergara (Gloria) revealed the identity of the newest cast member in an Instagram post. The role has been played for the past two seasons by Pierce Wallace. Reports said last month that producers were going with a slightly older actor to play Joe and Gloria’s newly “rough and tumble” son.

    Newlyweds

    FOUNDER and CEO of e-commerce giant JD.com Liu Qiangdong married Zhang Zetian, known online as “Milk Tea Sister,” in Beijing, Chinese media reported yesterday.

    Liu, 41, was first caught dating Zhang, 19 years his junior, in April last year. The two reportedly met while attending learning programs in New York City, the United States. Zhang became famous in 2009 after a photo showing her holding a cup of milk tea went viral on China’s social media.

    This is the first marriage for Zhang and reportedly the second for Liu, who confirmed he had a 4-year-old son during a TV interview in 2010.

    Jennifer Aniston married

    JENNIFER ANISTON and Justin Theroux tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at home Wednesday. Roughly 70 guests attended the affair at the couple’s US$21 million Bel Air mansion.

    Though Aniston, 46, and Theroux, who turns 44 Aug. 10, traveled in the same circle for years, the couple began dating after shooting “Wanderlust.” This is the first marriage for Theroux and the second for Aniston, who divorced Brad Pitt in October 2005.Sofia Vergara (L) and Jeremy Maguire.
